Apparently, the internet has a lot to say about The Evermore Estate.

We didn’t realize we were going to become so famous! ;)

So, we thought we’d take a moment to share a little more about what’s actually happening here.

We are working incredibly hard to create something beautiful for our community.

Has our greenhouse and event venue taken longer than we hoped? Yes.

Have there been approximately 847 hoops to jump through? Also yes.

Here’s what you may not see from the outside:

Zoning laws. Approvals. Regulations. Inspections. Paperwork. More paperwork. And just when you think you’ve checked the last box, BAM! Surprise. Another box.

But here’s what we are NOT doing:

We’re not taking shortcuts.

We’re not ignoring the rules.

And we’re not giving up.

We’re raising our families, running a farm, building a business, opening a market, and working hard to create a place where our community can gather, celebrate, shop, and make special memories.

We know a work in progress isn’t always pretty. We’ve been open and honest with our clients about the process, and we’ve worked with those who have had concerns along the way.

We also know that when people only see little pieces of the story, it’s easy to fill in the blanks.

So rather than spending our time responding to every rumor, we’d rather invite you to come see what we’re actually about.

Meet the local makers.

See what we’re building.

We’re still building. We’re still working. We’re still jumping through hoops. And yes, we are VERY tired of jumping!

But we’re not giving up.

The internet can have its rumors.

We’ll keep doing what we’ve been doing all along: working hard to build something special for our community.

A little perspective on what we’re building at The Evermore Estate. 🤍

When we say we’re building something special, we truly mean it.

The Evermore Estate began with an approximately $2 million property investment, and the glass greenhouse venue we’re adding represents an additional investment approaching half a million dollars.

This isn’t a backyard greenhouse. It’s a commercial event space requiring engineering, site work, concrete and masonry, electrical, glass installation, permitting, safety requirements, and an enormous amount of coordination behind the scenes.

Building something of this scale has taken longer than we originally anticipated. We’ve been transparent about that, and when plans have changed for couples along the way, we have honored our commitments and provided refunds.
We are incredibly proud of what is being built here, and we’re equally grateful for the couples who have trusted us with one of the biggest days of their lives.

Evermore isn’t being built for a single wedding season. We’re investing in a property and a venue we hope will be part of this community for generations.

And we’re getting closer every single day. 🌿
