A new romantic musical comedy, Winners Of The Heart, tells the story of a young American woman who meets and falls in love with the Chinese master of ceremonies while she is reporting for the Associated Press at the closing ceremony of the Beijing Summer Games. They have an East–West distant relationship, then they meet in New York City on Christmas Eve. Conflicts develop as the young woman's father compares her new boyfriend’s singing profession with that of the Harvard lawyer she was previously engaged to marry, and with her sister’s topsy-turvy marriage to a Tennessee hillbilly. The story addresses social acceptance, ambition and family love.
This entertaining family musical, Winners Of The Heart, combines light drama, humor and beautiful music to define the meaning of love. The play visits traditional American and Chinese customs as it takes the journey on a course to victory as winners of the heart.
