8 years ago, I started the Purdue Corgi Races to raise money for Give Hope, Fight Poverty. I was inspired by my corgi Eddie and teamed up with a friend in a fraternity to get started. In 7 years, this fun and unique event has raised thousands of dollars to support GHFP and change the lives of so many children. I’m so grateful for the impact we’ve made together and the incredible community that has formed around these races.

This year, due to circumstances outside of my control, the proceeds from the races will be going to a new charity. It’s still a wonderful cause, but because of this change, I will no longer be involved with the event. If you’d like to stay updated, please follow the new event page or on Instagram going forward. Eddie is 12 years old now and raced for 6 years. But now he’s ready to enjoy his “retirement” years on his own little farm — right where he belongs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your enthusiasm, support, and generosity toward GHFP over the years. 🐶Purdue’s Annual Corgi Race is back!🐶

Join us on Sunday, October 19th, to watch the greatest spectacle in short-legged racing! Visit the Grand Prix track from 2:00PM-4:00PM to watch these cute corgis contending in races, costume competitions, and more. All proceeds go toward charity!

We are so incredibly proud to announce our race and costume contest winners, as well as the final dollar amount raised. Thanks to everyone’s generous efforts, we raised a stunning $6,474 for Give Hope, Fight Poverty, and had a ton of fun doing it! We can’t wait to see you all next year!
