8 years ago, I started the Purdue Corgi Races to raise money for Give Hope, Fight Poverty. I was inspired by my corgi Eddie and teamed up with a friend in a fraternity to get started. In 7 years, this fun and unique event has raised thousands of dollars to support GHFP and change the lives of so many children. I’m so grateful for the impact we’ve made together and the incredible community that has formed around these races.
This year, due to circumstances outside of my control, the proceeds from the races will be going to a new charity. It’s still a wonderful cause, but because of this change, I will no longer be involved with the event. If you’d like to stay updated, please follow the new event page or on Instagram going forward. Eddie is 12 years old now and raced for 6 years. But now he’s ready to enjoy his “retirement” years on his own little farm — right where he belongs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your enthusiasm, support, and generosity toward GHFP over the years. If you’d like to continue supporting GHFP directly, feel free to DM me for details on how to get involved.
Please keep cheering on this event and the corgis that make it so special. Happy racing, and as always — Boiler Up! 🏁🚂
