The Zoom links for each session can be found on the website using the menu on the left of the page or under the "Agenda" tab.

Everyone who registered for the symposium should have received an email with the website link, login information, and the symposium program.

We are very excited to announce that registration for the 2022 Purdue Linguistics Symposium (April 8-9) is now open! Registration for the symposium is free!

Registered participants will receive both the Zoom meeting information and the login credentials to access the on-demand presentations in late March. On-demand presentations will be available for viewing during the symposium and until May 1, 2022.

We are excited to announce our two plenary speakers for the 2022 Purdue Linguistics Symposium!

Dr. Olga Dmitrieva is an Associate Professor of Russian and Linguistics at Purdue University. Dr. Dmietrieva's research focuses on acoustic phonetics in bilingualism and second language acquisition.

Dr. Savithry Namboodiripad is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Namboodiripad's research focuses on how language contact contributes to language evolution, variation, and change.

Please note that registration for the symposium will open on Tuesday, February 8th. More details about the symposium will be coming soon!

We are excited to announce the upcoming Purdue Linguistics Symposium 2022 to be held on April 8-9, 2022! The symposium will be virtual with on-demand presentations and live plenary speakers and workshops.

We are excited to announce our plenary speakers for the 2021 Purdue Linguistics Symposium! We are looking forward to two engaging talks from:

-Dr. Daniel Olson, Associate Professor of Spanish at Purdue University. Dr. Olson's research focuses on the phonetics and psycholinguistics of bilingual populations.

-Dr. Rex Sprouse, Professor of Second Language Studies at Indiana University. Dr. Sprouse's research focuses on second language acquisition, syntactic theory, and the structure and history of the languages in Western Europe and Turkish.
