There are so many traditional ways for Fathers of the Bride to participate in a wedding celebration, but not as many moments for Moms. We have loved seeing all of the ways our Brides have honored both their Moms and Mother-in-Love, and felt Mother's Day was the perfect time to share!
🤍 Invite both of the Moms to sign the marriage license as witnesses!
🤍 Do a "first look" with your Mom, or with both of your parents.
🤍 Dedicate the bouquet to your Mom in lieu of a traditional bouquet toss
🤍 Have both parents walk you down the aisle, or invite Mom to stand for the traditional "giving of the Bride"
🤍 Invite her to give a welcome speech as the host
🤍 Present her with a special gift or keepsake from the day
🤍 Wear an element of her own wedding dress! We have seen gowns worn just as they are, or re-designed into a getting ready robe, clutch purse, or party dress
🤍 Dedicate a song on the dance floor to her, or request one of her favorites!
🤍 Invite her to join in halfway for the Father/Daughter dance, or add a Mother/Daughter dance to your timeline
