Hey everyone, sorry I haven’t been on here much lately. It been a crazy winter with the weather and my wife building a wedding venue. I have had some phone calls already wanting to know how things are looking, I have to say I’m very impressed how they are looking, I think this is a way deep set of pigs that I have. I farrowed 7 litters, starting on early January. I will have 5 cross litters that look really good. I also have 2 pure York litters. I have had some really good success in the York breed. I have won the York barrow show at the state fair the last 3 years. With that my York litters look way good!! I will keep more updates coming. I’m debating on having an online sale. If so it would be in middle of March. If you want to chat about some litters and pigs, call me!! Stay warm and hope this weather changes fast!!

Since I posted some of the barrows the other day for my online sale and I have gotten a lot of calls about the gilts so I thought I would post this.. I don’t let many gilts at the caliber leave the farm. All of these gilts are backed by some really great mommas!! Pigs are hitting the chips!! I will open my doors next weekend. I will have an online sale on March 20th with showpig.com. I will also be heading to Indiana on March 23rd for the Go Big Go Home Sale. Hey everyone today I loaded my first ever Duroc Gilt in the farrowing crate!! Yep I have never seen duroc babies before. So this is going to be the first. After watching the pure show at the expo. I had a idea to get a good one and see happens. Well early August I purchase one. She was reserve on the Iowa jackpot circuit. Got 3rd in her Class at expo. So I think I did alright, so far. I decided to bred her to Watch Out at SGI for a late January litter. I think this could be interesting. She is due on Tuesday.
