🌍✨ Wow, what a Cache Ba$h! The 17th annual West Bend $1000 Cache Ba$h was extra special this year as we celebrated 25 years of geocaching. Over 1,000 logs recorded in the books, with adventurers joining us from 28 states and 7 countries—truly making this a global gathering right here in West Bend!
The weekend was filled with memories, adventures, and plenty of caches—plus a healthy dose of heat and rain. But even when the skies opened up, our geocaching community showed their resilience, and with a few quick adjustments, the fun carried on. It’s incredible to see how the event has grown and evolved over the years, while still holding onto the heart of what makes it special: creative, high-quality caches.
A huge thank you goes out to the cache hiders who poured their time, energy, and resources into hiding 66 incredible caches this year—we couldn’t do it without you. We’re also so grateful to the City of West Bend and the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department for their partnership and for providing such beautiful places to explore. To the vendors, the dedicated volunteers, and of course every single cacher who made the trip—whether it was your first Bash or your 17th—you are what makes this event unforgettable.
We can’t wait to see you again at next year’s Cache Ba$h, happening the second weekend in August—August 7 & 8, 2026. Mark your calendars and get ready for more adventure, community, and geocaching fun!
