Meet the Director of the 2026 Shakespeare Under the Stars production of The Comedy of Errors!

Thomas Rothacker is an Actor, Director, Dramaturg and Playwright. He has worked in a variety of capacities Off and Off-Off Broadway. Tom will be traveling to La Jolla Playhouse this Spring to the Without Walls Festival (WOW) with [IMAGE DESCRIPTION], a participatory live theater experience that explores our surreal relationship with reality, fiction, memory, images, and each other. This is the second trip to WOW after 2023's INERTIA, an intergenerational theatre experience written by and starring Drew Petersen.

In NYC, Tom has acted, directed and produced at theatres such as The Tank, Theatre for the New City, Theatre Row, The Kraine, American Theatre of Actors, Looking Glass, Wombat Theatre Co. Tom is an Associate Professor of Theatre Arts at CUNY Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY. He teaches courses such as Theatre History, Play Analysis, Fundamentals of Acting, Foundations in Theatre Arts and Playwriting. Tom is the Immediate Past Co-Chair for ACTF Region 1.

Jacob Rabold (Kevin T) is thrilled to be making his CCCC performing arts debut with such an amazingly talented cast and crew. Previous roles include Tom Sawyer in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Acting Out Theatre), Velveteen Rabbit in The Velveteen Rabbit (Boston Children's Theatre), Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (CCftA), and Race in Newsies (CCftA). He would like to give a huge thanks to his parents, Jen and Dan, for supporting his many theatre exploits.

He is currently a student studying performing arts with hopes to be a technical director and actor. Recent credits include: Drake (Annie), Dwalin (The Hobbit), Mr Beaver (LWW), and Ghost of Christmas Past (A Christmas Carol) all on the CCTCHJT stage. Gabe Ferreira (Ali, Matty) is very excited to be back on the stage for his first production at CCCC. Other than his backstage work with costumes for These Shining Lives, some of Gabe's previous roles include Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, Squidward in Spongebob, Ryan Evans in High School Musical, and many more. Gabe is currently studying music and plans to pursue his theater/music career. He would like to thank his friends and mother for their support.
