Today we say goodbye to a man that this track meant more to him than I could ever write.
He met the best friends of his life at a racetrack and his presence will be missed by so many he touched.
His passion for dirt racing, his willingness to help where needed, gave him the many friends he had here at this little place he loved.
This place will be missing someone special this summer.

Please keep Dan’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

THANK YOU Dirtworm Dan for everything you gave to Legion Speedway. You will be missed but never forgotten.

All the tears shed this week would make a nice sloppy wet dirt track for hot laps when we return to racing.

We will post something very soon on a plan going forward.
