Hamilton Wenham Children's Business Fair Hello and welcome! Observe the opportunity for children to launch their very own startup business! Deadline to apply for a booth: September 1st, 5pm. Sorry!

We are a team of passionate entrepreneurs, teachers, mentors, and parents, who want our children to learn about entrepreneurship in a practical way. Kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace. **At this time, we cannot accept applications for food or foodstuff that will trigger a health department approval. This includes: cupcakes, pre-packaged goods, home made candy or anything consumable. We will host approximately 50 booths for children vendors ages 8-18 years old at the upcoming Children's Business Fair on Saturday, September 21, from 11:00pm – 3:00 pm. We are charging a $25 booth fee (this is whether you share a table or not) which will cover all operational event costs. Children Vendors must start to set up at 10am and start to take down at 3pm. All children vendors should have an adult accompanying them for the duration of the event and in addition, there will be on-site volunteers who can help you. This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business and Salem State's Small Business Center. We all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation. Whether an entrepreneur is famous like Elon Musk or Oprah Winfrey or they are one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, these are the people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs and serve their communities. Our first Children's Business Fair took place in 2021 with 25 vendors and it was wildly successful. We can't wait to see what happens this third year.

**Please note, this fair will not approve those vendors selling any foodstuffs made at home and requiring health department certification.

🌟 Did you know every single booth at Saturday's Children's Business Fair is run by a kid? Not a parent standing behind the table, the kid.

These young entrepreneurs have spent weeks building a real business from scratch: coming up with an idea, making a product, setting a price, and getting ready to sell it to actual customers. That's you!

So when you stop by on Saturday, you're not just shopping, you're showing up for a kid who took a risk, built something with their own two hands, and can't wait to tell you all about it.

Come ask questions. Come be their first customer. Come cheer them on.

⏰ The Children's Business Fair is almost here! A few friendly reminders before Saturday:

💵 Bring cash. Most of our young entrepreneurs are set up to take cash first, so a little bit in your pocket goes a long way.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring the whole family. There's music, shopping, and a full day of fun for all ages.

🌤️ Dress for the weather. Right now, we are preparing for a possible indoor Fair, but never say never! Stay tuned for our final weather call for an indoor or outdoor experience.

🅿️ Plan your parking. Spots fill up fast once the fair kicks off, so an early arrival makes for the easiest parking. Bike or walk if weather permits! Either way, GET HERE!

💚 A Thank You Long Overdue
We want to take a moment to recognize someone and their business who have made an enormous difference for the Hamilton-Wenham Children's Business Fair.

A huge thank you to TM Landscaping for stepping up as a sponsor for 2026. Your support helps us keep this event free, welcoming, and full of opportunity for every young entrepreneur who walks through the door.

And who’s behind this amazing business is Karen Moulton, a founding member of our fair committee and our 2026 sponsor: thank you doesn't quite cover it.

Karen has been part of this fair since the very beginning, helping build it from an idea into the community tradition it is today. Her belief in what these kids can do, and her willingness to show up, year after year, is a huge part of why this fair still runs. Her support this year as a sponsor is just the latest chapter in a much longer story of dedication.

We're endlessly grateful for community members like Karen and businesses like TM Landscaping, the kind of support that makes this fair possible year after year.

Thank you both, from all of us and every young entrepreneur you've helped along the way. 💚

📅 Join us Saturday, September 26th at The Community House to see what your support helps make possible.

🚨 Weather Update: We're Indoors! 🚨

We wish this gorgeous painting of Cape Ann Artist Winslow Homer called "The Coming Storm" was not appropriate for this post, yet sadly it is....

With rain and high winds expected this weekend, the Hamilton-Wenham Children's Business Fair is moving indoors to The Community House!

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: thank you for your flexibility as we make this shift together. Space is tight, but we're making it work, and we're so grateful for the agility and grace you're bringing to this, especially with our kids watching the adults figure it out together. 💚

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁: your attendance means more this year than ever before. These kids have spent weeks building real businesses, and a little rain won't stop them from showing up ready to sell. Please don't let it stop you from showing up to support them! Come rain or shine, come indoors and shop small with our next generation of entrepreneurs.

☕ Bonus: our sponsor, Teresa's Farm, will be onsite selling lunch items, coffee, and refreshments, so there's something for everyone while you shop.

📅 Saturday, September 26th, 11AM-2PM
📍 The Community House, Hamilton (moved indoors!)

Vendors, we can't wait to see you there. Visitors, we hope you turn out in full force to cheer these kids on. Let's make this the best fair yet, indoors and all! 💚
