Mini & Mingle

A little sister-company spotlight 🌿

Our friends over at NEST Collective are teaming up with Growing Minds & More for Roots & Ropes — part of their Wonder & Word Studio series!

Kids will knot, plant, create, and put their ideas into words along the way. Basically the kind of creative, hands-on goodness we’re always here for. 🤍

Saturday, Sept. 26 | 10–12
Ages 5+ • $35
at The Mother’s Garden 🌱

🪴 ROOTS & ROPES
Knot a planter. Grow a guide.

Our next Wonder & Word Studio is coming up!

Kids will learn to create their own macramé plant hanger, choose a little potted plant to take home, and then put what they learned into words — creating a how-to guide for making their hanger or caring for their new plant.

The writing is part of the experience, but there’s no one “right” way to do it. We’ll support kids in getting their ideas out in the way that works for them.

A little knotting. A little growing. A little writing. A lot of room to create. 🌿

Going to the NCW Fair at the Douglas County Fairgrounds - WA? 👀

We’ve tucked a little Mini & Mingle magic into the Arts & Crafts building — and you’re invited on a mini hunt to find it. ☕️🍋✨

Find our tiny café, snap a photo, and tag Mini & Mingle so we can see that you found it!

✨ One lucky finder will receive a $25 Mini & Mingle gift card.

And while you’re there… take a peek at the cards beside the miniature. There might just be a little something for every finder. 😉

Happy hunting — and have so much fun at the fair!

To enter: Find our miniature at the NCW Fair, post a photo to Instagram or Facebook, and tag Mini & Mingle. Entries close when the fair ends on August 30. Winner will be selected after the fair.

We’re back from vacation and ready to craft together. 🌿

Open Studio is Thursday from noon–5pm, and the studio is stocked with some really lovely little things right now.

🌸 Miniette Bloom Boxes — $18
Beautiful preserved flowers in the tiniest little arrangement — basically the miniature floral version of an anxiety bookshelf.

🏡 Rolife kits — $42
Dreamy Garden House + Slow Life Café are both on the shelf right now.

🌿 Build-your-own vignettes — $25
Choose your base, then wander the Mini Bar for décor and embellishments to build your own tiny scene. Our current collection is a little garden-y, a little whimsical, and very fun to dig through.

There’s no studio fee during Open Studio. Come for an hour, stay for the afternoon, bring a friend or just bring yourself.

We’ll have a seat waiting for you. 🤎

A little quieter around here this week because this founder is taking a few days off to soak up much needed family time and celebrate another trip around the sun. 🎂

I’ll be back next week with more tiny things, big ideas, and probably way too many projects in progress. 🧡

Mini & Mingle is heading out into the community tomorrow! 🌿

There won’t be Open Studio hours because we’ll be at the CVCH Back-to-School Health Fair with The Mother’s Garden and our sister brand, NEST Collective.

NEST will be sharing resources for families (including an invitation to a free upcoming ADHD class!), and we’ll be there lending a hand, meeting families, and enjoying a day with our community.

Mini & Mingle and NEST may look a little different from the outside, but they share a founder—and a pretty big belief in creating spaces where kids and grown-ups can learn, create, connect, and feel like they belong.

If you’re at the health fair tomorrow, come say hi! 💛

✨ We finally have a website!

Mini & Mingle started with a simple idea: create a space where people can slow down, make something with their hands, and enjoy creating together.

The website is an extension of that same idea.

You’ll find:
🌿 Open Studio hours
🎨 Creative workshops
🏡 Private gatherings
📅 An event calendar so you can always see what’s happening next

Whether you’ve been following from the beginning or are just discovering us, I’d love for you to take a look around.

I hope it gives you a feel for what Mini & Mingle is all about—and maybe inspires you to come spend a little time creating with us

http://www.miniandmingle.studio 🧡

A little space to make, rest, and connect—through open studio time, creative workshops, and private gatherings.

A new kind of creative experience is coming to The Mother’s Garden! A tiny door—and a whole story waiting behind it. ✨

In this hands-on workshop, kids will design and decorate their own tiny wooden door, then imagine and create an original story to go with it.

Tiny Story Door is presented by NEST Collective and Growing Minds & More, bringing together executive-function support, skilled writing instruction, and plenty of room for creativity. Storytellers at every writing level are welcome.
