TWO FREE TICKETS to HG'S Production of EMILIA if you guess the exact date our lovely ginko tree sheds its yellow leaves. Each year, the tree outside the HG office on Water Street drops all its leaves following a hard frost. Guess that day and you'll get two free tickets to our next production: EMILIA In the event of more than one winner, all winners will receive two free tickets. (Note: one year the tree shed its leaves over a three day span. In that event, it'll be the day that the most leaves fall. ) Guesses must be received by October 14. TONIGHT at 7pm in the Warehouse Gallery! Women who might be interested in writing for our 2027 production can come learn about writing for the stage and brainstorm ideas.

The power of travel meets the power of story in WANDER WOMEN!

It's time to start thinking about our 2027 production (even as our 2026 production of EMILIA is rehearsing for performances in November). WANDER WOMEN will be a show full of original work written by us, much like WOMEN and WOODPECKER LIPS. Shows will start the end of April, so we need to get writing!

Whether you've never written for the stage or want a refresher and chance to brainstorm ideas in a group, the first writers session this Monday, Oct. 5, might be just what will shake the ideas loose. The following 2 sessions are for sharing and hearing drafts even incomplete ones) read aloud. All sessions are on Mondays 7-8pm in the Warehouse Gallery.
