When partnerships are nurtured and visions are shared, progress happens and the magic begins!

Construction brings temporary challenges, but at its heart, it represents growth, investment, and care for the place we call home. The Main Street we’re building today is laying the foundation for an incredibly bright future for Wellington!

We are immensely grateful to the Colorado Main Street team, the Town of Wellington, Colorado, and our INCREDIBLE businesses for your continued partnership, unwavering support, and belief in our vision and dreams for our community. We’re grateful, we’re proud, and we’re OH SO EXCITED for what’s ahead!

🌧️ TODAY’S MAIN STREET MARKET IS CANCELLED 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the unpredictability of today’s weather and the potential for thunderstorms this afternoon, today’s Main Street Market has been cancelled.

We are especially saddened because this was supposed to be our final market of the 2026 season. 💔 We know many of you were looking forward to one last Friday together, and we’re disappointed that Mother Nature had other plans!

The safety of our vendors, volunteers and community comes first, so we feel this is the best decision given the forecast. And the best news is, our downtown businesses will be open as usual, so please still come downtown and support our many wonderful establishments!

Thank you, Wellington, for an incredible market season! ❤️ Whether you joined us once or came out week after week, you helped make Friday evenings at the Market something special. We are so grateful for our vendors, volunteers, partners and everyone who shopped, ate, listened, browsed and gathered with us this summer.

🍞🍺🎥 MARKET, MINGLE KICK OFF LOADED WEEKEND 🍞🍺🎥

The second to last Main Street Market (brought to you by the Wellington CO Main Street Program) of the season is today (9/18)! Come down to Centennial Park starting at 4:30 p.m. to check out all the produce, baked goods and handmade artisan items being sold by members of our community!

After the Market, head Downtown for the September Mingle on Main, which celebrates Oktoberfest! The Mingle runs through 8 p.m. and features shop local specials and more fun.

And come back tomorrow (9/19) for the Wellington STAR Foundation's annual 5K/10K in the morning and family-friendly Oktoberfest immediately after hosted by American Legion Wellington Post 176 in Centennial Park!

And cap the day by joining Wellington Parks and Recreation for a viewing of "Hook" to celebrate National Talk Like A Pirate Day in Winick Park (3910 W**e Cup St.), with games starting at 6 p.m. and the movie starting at 7 p.m.

We hope to see you this weekend in Wellington!

❗9/18 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: 3RD ST. INTERSECTION OPEN❗

The 3rd Street intersection with Cleveland Avenue has reopened after a temporary closure to allow for the installation of storm drainage infrastructure. Traffic can once again move through that intersection.

Additionally, the 4th Street intersection — which had been closed during active Cleveland Avenue work until being reopened during the 3rd Street closure — will remain open to give Downtown visitors an additional option for crossing Cleveland Avenue during construction.

The 2nd and 5th Street intersections with Cleveland Avenue remain closed.

We have Here & Now Farm, Dusty C Family Farm, Little Cranberry Ranch, Sawdust & Moore, Engines & Dragons, Keep Calm and Flicker on, Rainbow Tigon, Kirsten's Carvings, the Crafty Corner, the Fort Collins Soap Company, Henna Tattoos, Honeysuckle & Sage, Las 3 Mariposas Sweets, Elena's cakes, Slimeology, Indio, VL creations and all of our youth vendors! Food trucks are What the Cluck, Mac N, and Lujosa Chill Bar!!
