CELEBRITY CHAT: Club Members enjoyed an inspiring visit from Natalie Boyd, who shared her journey as USOA Ms. Wisconsin and founder of the Cinderella Leadership Foundation. She was joined by USOA Teen Bull Falls 2026 Charlotte Schlagel, and together they led an engaging conversation about leadership, perseverance, and the many paths to success.

Members had the opportunity to ask questions, share their dreams for the future, and learn how confidence, hard work, and service can help turn goals into reality. The session ended on a heartwarming note when Natalie introduced her dog, giving Members the chance to enjoy some tail-wagging fun and plenty of canine snuggles!

MONEY MATTERS: Thanks to Diane Yang and Angel Saindon from BMO U.S. for kicking off our teen financial literacy series at the Club. Members explored banking, investments, credit, debt, and more. Over the coming weeks, they'll continue building skills in saving, goal setting, and money management. From managing a first paycheck to saving for college and future goals, this series is helping teens build the confidence to make smart financial decisions!

A huge thank you to the team from Wipfli for spending Community Day at the Club!

Volunteers dedicated their time and energy preparing after school snacks, washing windows, cleaning Club vans, refreshing garden areas, and creating encouraging notecards for Club Members.

Every project supports our mission to enrich and transform the lives of young people. Thank you, Wipfli, for making a lasting impact in our community!

THANK YOU: Ruder Ware volunteers spent their time and energy helping the Club during the first ever day! Volunteers organized materials, filled the Little Free Library, stocked hygiene supplies, stuffed folders, and wrote positive messages to Club Members. Thank you for choosing to spend the day giving back to the community at the Club and helping to support the young people we serve.

Thank you to United Way of Marathon County for helping to coordinate the day of service.

OPEN INTERVIEWS! We are having open interviews for Youth Development Specialists at our Wausau, Weston and Merrill sites for the 2026-27 school year. Walk-ins welcome at the Caroline S. Mark Site, 1710 N. 2nd Street, Wausau! Positions are Monday - Friday.

TUESDAYS, Sept. 29, Oct. 6, Oct. 13, Oct. 20 & Oct. 27: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, Oct. 7: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
THURSDAYS, Oct. 1, Oct. 22 & Oct. 29: 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

PAYING IT FORWARD: Recently, Torch Club members put their leadership and compassion into action by collecting and delivering boxes and bags filled with donated groceries and essential supplies to The Womens Community, Inc. .

Torch Club is youth leadership at its best, empowering members to work together to identify needs in the community and make a positive impact!
