The FIRE IT UP RETREAT will also focus heavily on the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

At baptism, graces poured over your life allowing you to participate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The gifts build your relationship with God and build up His Holy Church.

Pope John XXIII implored the whole Church to pray in preparation for the Council, asking God to send us a “new Pentecost,” and Benedict XVI called for the whole Church to pray for a renewal of Baptism and confirmation and be “baptized in the Spirit.”

For more than 40 years there has been a strong and continuing emphasis coming from the Popes on the need of the Church, and each of us as individuals, to experience today the work of the Spirit as we see it described in the accounts of Pentecost in the Acts of the Apostles.

Come experience the love and grace God has in store for each one of us as we ask the Holy Spirit for MORE!

Come join us at the Fire It Up Retreat for all ages on March 29th and 30th, presented by the Epiphany Catholic Church, at the Watford City Rough Rider Center. Registration is open now!

2019 Fire It Up: Presented by the Watford City Epiphany Catholic Church

Big things are happening in our parish here in Watford City, North Dakota. We have grown in numbers along with the local economy and are looking forward to hosting this event in March 2019 called Fire it Up. It is the biggest event we have ever had in our parish and want everyone to join us for this retreat!

Fire It Up is a 2Tim4 Ministries retreat developed for all ages. Caroline and Daniel Dirkes, co-founders of 2Tim4 Ministries, deliver the Gospel message with humor, love and passion. Caroline has been involved in evangelization , youth ministry, and the Charismatic Renewal for over 20 years. She has spoken at numerous conferences and retreats internationally. Dan is a gifted speaker and anointed worship leader. When he is not leading worship, Dan is a Director of Territory Operations at Bankers Life and Casualty. Dan and Caroline love spending time with their five beautiful children ranging from 1 year old to 10 years old.

This retreat will bring engaging and inspiring talks, powerful worship music, confession times, adoration, and will end with Mass on Saturday. The kids aged 3-11 will have their own special agenda for the weekend retreat. It will include an exclusive SuperHero Track developed by 2Tim4 Ministries for the 6-10 year old group. The 3-5 year old will also have a preschool track they participate in while the adults are in the main sessions. The children will have their own worship music and fun activities. And a big bonus of the weekend is that your meals are included with your registration!

Friday night kicks off with a dinner and carnival style games and bouncy houses in the Rough Rider Center Arena (downstairs, elevators available). The doors open at 4:30 pm and the dinner starts at 5:00 pm. The main session for adults and the children’s tracks start at 6:30 Friday night. Main sessions for young adults (11+) and adults are located in the ballroom on the main level of the Rough Rider Center. All children’s track sessions are located in the Arena in the Rough Rider Center.
