New England Acro Fest

Acro festival in New England NEAF is not a huge festival by design. We intentionally keep things small and intimate so that people can actually connect.

New England AcroFest was born from love: love for acro, love for community, and love for the magic that happens when people come together to play, connect, and learn. After years of traveling to train, attend festivals, and meet some of the most inspiring teachers and friends, we wanted to bring that magic closer to home, to share it with our local and nearby communities. We’ve seen time and again

how a weekend-long event can create something special: new friendships, surprise partnerships, and the kind of inspiration that lingers long after the final jam. We’ve curated a lineup of incredible teachers, people we admire deeply for their creativity, skill, and the joy they bring to acro. We’ve asked them to offer content they’re excited about, not just the same material they’ve taught everywhere else. We’ve built a schedule that celebrates the full range of L-basing: the playful, the technical, the collaborative, the weird, the graceful, the powerful. It’s the style of acro that got so many of us hooked, and we believe it still has so much to offer. We’re building the kind of festival we want to attend; one that’s fun, welcoming, full of interesting content and opportunities to connect. Whether you come to learn, play, meet new people, or just spend a weekend doing what you love, we hope you’ll find something here that feels like home.

We did it! NEAF 2025 is officially sold out!

Don’t go anywhere though, we’ll keep sharing details about the weekend, and other important updates here.

Are you a ticket holder? Make sure you’ve joined our communication channels, we’ll use our whatsapp for important info the weekend of, and the Facebook group is available to coordinate rides/ housing! Reach out if you need the links.

Miss your chance to get a ticket? We have one ticket holder looking to do a transfer - please reach out and we’ll connect you!

PS. Can you spot Saturday’s scheduling change? We’re sad can no longer make it (hope you heal up!), but RAD Acro Nashville is excited to fill the slot with Star Glow Up, a class focusing on refining and strengthening star, while offering some unique entrances and exits 🤩

Scholarship Funds! We are grateful to partner with .rsvp for all our event ticketing needs. They are also generously sponsoring the NEAF 2025 Scholarship Fund!

Our hope is that by offering scholarship funds, we can help make the festival more accessible for anyone experiencing financial need, whether due to job loss, life changes, unexpected expenses, or other circumstances.

You’ll have the option to apply for a full scholarship, a reduced-price ticket, and/or a small travel stipend (please note: stipend funds are limited this year).

We also invite, but do not require, applicants to share if they identify as BIPOC, as part of our ongoing commitment to building a diverse and inclusive community.

Acceptance notifications will be sent on a rolling basis while funds remain available. If applications exceed available funding, we may not be able to offer support to every applicant.

Let’s be real—it’s easy to get caught chasing the next big skill. We’ve done it too.

But when you stop and think… is that what really makes acro meaningful to you?

Is it the perfectly timed video and the big IG moment?
Or the goofy, janky attempts that led to real progress—and even better laughs?

Is it the tricks?
Or the people you met while spotting the same weird shape for the fifth time?

For a lot of us, the thing that keeps us coming back isn’t just the skills.

👯‍♀️It’s the connection.
😁The joy.
🧐The problem-solving.
👩‍🎨The creativity.
🤪The safe, silly moments that remind us why we play.
💞 The friendships—especially in a world that doesn’t always make those easy.
🕺The feeling of doing something you didn’t think you could do.
💪The way your body gets stronger, more capable, more expressive.

At NEAF, that’s the kind of experience we’re trying to create.

It’s about depth. It’s about presence. It’s about people.

✨Emily & Sean✨

Emily & Sean are pillars of the NYC acro scene, known for their hand-balancing prowess and anatomy-informed teaching. Their style emphasizes precision and solid technique, empowering both bases and flyers to tap into their strengths, refine their skills, and level up with confidence.

-Bio-
Sean is the founder and owner of both Warrior Bridge and CirqueHaus in New York City, two training spaces which he runs with Emily, who has been a practicing physical therapist (treating mostly circus artists!) for 15 years. Together they teach several acro classes per week. Of course they also love teaching and talking about handstands and anatomy. They're excited to share the acro they love with NEAF this year!
