Since I’m not doing a light show this year and everything seems to be going virtual anyway, enjoy this song and sequence I did late in the 2018 season. I really like Kaskade’s Christmas album and I had a lot of fun producing this sequence since it’s a very unique rendition of the song, “Carol of the Bells” (although Kaskade titles it, “Christmas is here”).

A house with 60,000 lights controlled by 60,000 channels using Light-O-Rama hardware and software and sequenced to the song, "Christmas is here" by Kaskade.

Hey, it’s your neighborhood light show guy here. I’m sorry to inform you that there is no light show this year. I do still hope to work with the township and a ton of volunteers to help make this a community event in a Waterford park sometime in the near future. Well, we may not have won the light fight but the amount of support we have received at our reveal party and on Facebook has given us more love and joy than any trophy could ever give. Thank you to everyone who came out to Johnny Black’s last Monday, it was incredible to see everyone there. Even Carter was impressed by the energy of the crowd while filming so I think we represented Waterford and Michigan well. We gave these ornaments away as a parting gift during the party and we still have a few left. So we thought if anyone would like to have one, we’re asking for a $5 donation to the PayPal address, [email protected] and we will ship an ornament to you for free. All donations will support the Michigan Humane Society. Just be sure to include your address in the donation submission.

Thank you again for the tremendous support over the years and we hope to be flashing lights again by next season.

Our two and a half year journey with "The Great Christmas Light Fight" comes to an exciting end in just two days! Watch us this Monday at 9 PM EST on ABC.

We are not running a light show this year since we are moving and the house is for sale. This episode was filmed in 2018. Keep following us for future light shows to be held at a new Waterford public location that is still to be determined.

Sneak Peak #2: One of the best days of our lives! After hundreds of hours of preparation and thinking the night before the filming that nothing was going to work, we pull off a miracle with only seconds left to suit up into our elf costumes. Then, we step out the front door to see hundreds of friends, family and fans smiling and dancing in the street to help cheer us on for Carter's arrival. Thank you everyone who braved the cold night with take after take to capture this awesome moment. We can't wait for Monday night at 9 PM to see the rest!

Watch Team Nagy compete nationally on Monday, December 9th at 9 PM EST as Michigan’s first contestant on ABC’s, “The Great Christmas Light Fight” season 7. There’s an 8 PM episode on this day as well but we are in the 9 PM episode. Here’s a one-minute teaser clip to enjoy in the meantime. I think it’s safe to say that our dog is going to steal the show.

We’re taking over Johnny Blacks Public House bar and restaurant in Waterford starting at 8:30 PM on the 9th to host a reveal party and you’re invited! Come join us and show your Team Nagy of Waterford support at this great Waterford establishment. It would be great to meet you!
