Known for using her art to make statements about social issues, Alatise has been an artist for the past 20 years.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Alatise grew up with her 7 siblings. She first found love for art at the age of 15 and expressed to her father her desire to make a career as an artist, which he disapproved of at first.

Her most notable art piece is ‘Ascension’, which sold for N4.4 million in Nigeria's Art Auction!
