🎊🎉Happy New Year! 🎊 🎉

This is Anissa from RECTIFY sending you warm wishes this new year! I wanted to personally thank you for helping us show such amazing support to cancer survivors, like me, for 8️⃣ YEARS through RECTIFY: THE RACE!

With your registrations through the years, we've helped cancer survivors and their families during chemo, radiation and supportive surgeries with meal services and financial donations impacting children and adults with cancer!

You've participated and pledged support from all across the nation 🇺🇸AND internationally from as far as Austria and SIerra Leone! 🇸🇱

All starting with one persons goal to triumph over cancer. 🙌🏽

My journey of trying to overcome a cancer diagnosis at 34. A woman early in my journey as a wife, and a new mom of 2 kids under 5 yo.

Thank you for getting me through this with your support! I just wanted to sincerely THANK YOU! I promise to continue giving you RECTIFY!

It’s ! 🏅

Folks in the running 🏃🏾‍♀️ world know what I’m talking about. But if that’s not you let me share more.

Most 5/10Ks, half and full marathons are run on weekends. Typically at the end of the race, a medal is draped around the necks of the finishers. On the following Monday morning the conqueror (race finisher) shows of his or her medal(s).

Well—this year—we aren’t doing anything different. WE are shining a light on our history and not cowering away from it. We acknowledge and celebrate and being and in 2021–we can collectively stand and say that we are and that although we don’t look like what we’ve been through—we yet STAND tall.

Will you wear YOUR medal?

Join us for this year (virtually) for a celebration of history. We are victors although parts of our past may have made us feel like victims.

Walkers, runners and bike riders are all welcome. Cancer-centric and family-friendly.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support and their families.

Soooo... we can’t break out the big finish line 🏁 with the race timers this year. We can’t cheer you on and drape a race medal around your neck like we used to.
BUT you can still put your rear in gear and get it going for this RECTIFY has been doing our best for 7 years to address the needs of cancer survivors and now even more disparities in our communities.

REGISTRATION for this series will aid the March of Dimes, the National Fatherhood Initiative and the Special Olympics. Join us in making a difference!
