Alumus Spotlight:
Our very own MASLED alumna, Desirée Delbert, has been selected to present at the upcoming Promising Practices Annual Virtual Conference! 🌟
Desirée, a state-licensed ASL instructor with Virginia Virtual Academy and a local community college, will be presenting on a critical topic for online educators: "Student Visibility and Engagement in Live Classes." Her session explores the cultural and wellness aspects of why students keep cameras off and offers promising practices to strengthen connections.
Lend a hand! 👋 Desirée is collecting data from fellow virtual ASL teachers to support her research. If you teach ASL online, please take 5-10 minutes to complete her anonymous survey.
