🏁 WEEK 1 STANDINGS ARE IN! 🏁

The green flag has dropped and the Race to Daytona is already heating up!

After the first lap around the track, a few States have mashed the gas pedal and jumped out to an early lead in the race for the 2026 EANGUS Membership Championship.

🏆 Top 5 States After Week 1:
🥇 Georgia – 225 Laps
🥈 California – 71 Laps
🥉 Texas – 56 Laps
4️⃣ Arkansas – 40 Laps
5️⃣ Ohio – 18 Laps

Georgia came out of pit road at full throttle and has built an impressive early lead, but there's a lot of racing left before we reach Daytona!

Remember, every NEW EANGUS member recruited earns ONE LAP for your State Association and helps your Area move closer to the Area Championship Cup.

This race is about more than standings and trophies.

🇺🇸 EANGUS Supports LP291: Modernizing the National Guard Workforce

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) has formally submitted letters to Congressional leadership and the House and Senate Armed Services Committees expressing our support for Legislative Proposal 291 (LP291) – National Guard Dual-Status Technician Conversions and Phase-Out.

Today's National Guard operates around the globe while simultaneously responding to disasters, homeland defense missions, cyber threats, and emergencies here at home. Yet many of the systems supporting our full-time workforce were built for a different era.

LP291 is a readiness-focused reform that would expand the use of AGR and Title 5 positions, improve workforce stability, enhance retention, and provide more predictable career opportunities for our Soldiers and Airmen. By modernizing the technician system, we can retain critical talent, preserve institutional knowledge, and strengthen the readiness of the National Guard for generations to come.

EANGUS believes our Guardsmen deserve a workforce structure that reflects the operational force they have become. While implementation details will continue to be refined, LP291 represents a significant step toward improving opportunities, benefits, and long-term stability for the men and women who serve our states and nation.
