"ALICE"

In need of a Wonderland? Be inspired, surprised and delighted with our unique version of the Alice story. Momentum Dance Theatre presents ALICE: Why We All Need A Wonderland, our dance theater version of the beloved Lewis Carroll books with original script by Artistic Director Roberta Rothstein and Mr. Carroll.

ALICE showcases diverse dance styles: jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop and Bollywood with an eclectic musical playlist and originally designed props and costumes. Meet our Mad Hatter, March Hare, Mock Turtle, Caterpillar and all the other Alice characters, This professionally produced show features our talented Jazz Hip Hop Academy students plus adult actors.

Last year, Atlas had 116 unique performances with over 325 shows and events overall. We provided free youth programming valued over $320,000 and $907,855 in free or subsidized rental space for DC artists and arts organizations.
