Happy Labor Day Backstage fans !! It's time for Back to School and Backstage show with Bill Kirchen !! Here's a sneak preview story from Bill 's school daze: "The Who Knows Pickers, Ann Arbor HS Senior Talent Show, June 1965. We showed up for the rehearsal with me, with a pickup and my guitar, and a drummer and a bass player, and tried to do "Subterranean Homesick Blues" electric, which was already out on the radio by then. Note that that preceded by a month Dylan's famous electric appearance at Newport, which I saw. We prolly wouldn't have gotten quite the level of attention that Bob did.
