While the legacy CVS HVAC systems weren’t enough to keep everyone cool from the heat, delivered with another fire show with nothing but 90’s classics. We genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience in attendance.

Happy ! In celebration, we share a moment & memories from LaWann Stribble of @ Juneteenth 2021:

This was my 1st news interview but moments before the recording I received a phone call from my aunt telling me that our matriarch, my Grandmother, the 1st woman, 1st person I saw in the kitchen providing me all the good scents, passed away.

I’m 4th generation NWDC born and being in Georgetown, vending our brand in the city that began my life and love for cooking and baking was truly special. I got to honor my grandmother by sharing our ancestral history through food.

Hi New Friends! After 4 Amazing Years @ , we relocated our container to our newest location , an indoor/outdoor community collaboration in partnership with .

Traditionally, each and every location we open is planned well in advance with consideration, strategy, and tact. Last Tuesday, Howard University Community Affairs Manager Teresa Edmondson held a “First Look” for key community stakeholders such as our local ANC, Main Streets Executive Directors, MPD, Local Government Agencies, surrounding business, partners & more. Councilwoman was also on site to take in the refreshed, repurposed legacy CVS located at the corner of 7th and Florida Avenue NW.

Reclaiming a vacant and underutilized building is no easy task. Thanks to the financial support from & the continued program partnership from with their Vacant to Vibrant Activation Project, we are able to turn 20,000 square feet of space back into productive use for community benefit and share this amenity with neighbors, residents and visitor’s to Washington, DC. Be sure to be on the lookout for activities and experiences for all via our website @ sandlotdc.com
