I had the most amazing time sharing my running story on The Runners Roundtable!! I’ve never fully sat down and thought about where I came from and how I got to where I am now in my running journey. Thinking back to a few years ago, I would have never imagined I’d be a few months out from my first marathon today. There have been so many highs and lows since I started running in 2023. 🏃🏻‍♀️ At this point you all know I'm running the NYC Marathon BUT did you know you can be part of it too? The best part? You can join from anywhere, even your couch! 🛋️

“How?” you ask…for a $5 donation you can use the Rally app to record a short voice message that I'll hear at whichever mile you choose. Your encouragement will be exactly what I need to get me to the finish line! 🗣️

Every message also helps me get closer to my fundraising goal for Pencils of Promise, supporting education for children around the world. ✏️

Last week I heard about teachers sharing their wishlists with Altar’d State’s GiveBack program and finding success with getting the lists cleared. After doing more research I figured they may be able to help with my marathon fundraiser. I decided to reach out and let them know a little bit about Pencils of Promise and why I’m running the NYC marathon with this specific organization! A week later I received this response. I’m so grateful for their help and am another step closer to reaching my fundraising goal!!✨❤️

I’ve been on vacation for the past week but still managed to get some short runs in along the boardwalk! 🏖️
