Sometimes training runs don’t go as planned. The goal for today was 11 miles but around mile 3 I started to feel sick so I decided to turn around and cut it short. I felt terrible cutting a long run short, especially when my next race is in three weeks, but that’s just the reality of training! 11 miles will have to wait to another day.
I’ve reached $500 for my fundraiser! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I wouldn’t be able to run the NYC Marathon without you!! Every dollar donated makes a difference. Each dollar gets me closer and closer to my goal. Only $4,000 left to go 💸🏃🏻♀️🏙️
Sometimes you tell a friend that you’re running the NYC marathon and they tell you that they have an offer to run so she pulls out her phone to accept!! What’s better than one Eric(k)a running a marathon??? TWO!!
Also venmo donations are totally acceptable too! on venmo ❣️
🏃🏻♀️ A sweet little seven (and a half) miles for this Sunday!!
It’s been real fun getting to explore different parts of NOVA/DC on my long runs lately. (And yes the route was totally planned around being able to make this video. Anything to keep me from going crazy.)
There’s about 6 weeks left until the Alexandria Half Marathon and my mileage is slowly creeping up. This warmer weather has been wonderful to run in! Here’s hoping it stays 🤞🏼❣️
Hi friends! I’m teaming up with Pencils of Promise to run the New York City Marathon this November!! Running NYC has been a goal of mine for the past few years. Follow along my journey to 26.2 miles while also raising money for PoP. 🏃🏻♀️🤗
