Hey Afro Rosé fam! We have some news to share. Due to some unforeseen venue issues, we're gonna have to reschedule the event for either June 29th or July 7th. We're working closely with our amazing artists and partners to pick the best new date, and we'll let you know ASAP! ️

In the meantime, we know this is a bummer, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If the new date doesn't work for you, no worries! Refunds will be available for everyone who can't make it.

Afro Rosé family! We are thrilled to announce our final line up of incredible talented artists and performers this weekend.

Next in the line up of acts we have for you is Malik Stewart, also known as .dope

As he founded his own multi-media arts & production company called “DOPEWAE”, Malik has performed and taught all over the world as a solo artist and featured with highly known celebrities and entities all while using his platform to bring awareness to certain issues in his community as well. In this time he has also founded his own unique style of drum and dance called “WAE-Work”, which is the act of simultaneously using rudimental drumming techniques with stick trick acrobatics accompanied by freestyle dance or fixed choreography, utilizing the whole human body all in one.

Malik’s latest big highlight in 2020 was being an contestant on the NBC syndicated TV show America’s Got Talent, finishing as a semi-finalist and shocking the world. Malik is now creating his own music and in 2021 he released debut album “Light Being”. Currently Malik is doing shows all over America to all around the world, spreading his light as much as possible.

We can't for Malik to rawk the stage on June 1st!

Afro Rosé family! We are thrilled to announce our final line up of incredible talented artists and performers this weekend.

Next in the line up of acts we have for you is Malik Stewart, also known as .dope

Originally from Washington, D.C., Malik's musical journey started at a very young age. Inspired by African drum and dance, he began playing the drums when he was only five years old. As the years went by, Malik's passion for percussion grew stronger, leading him to take it more seriously at the age of twelve. He started playing in local bands, delving into genres like GoGo, Hip Hop, and R&B.

While pursuing his love for GoGo music, Malik discovered a new world of percussion when he joined his high school's marching band. This experience completely transformed his life, pushing him to progress even further. Juggling his commitments to the GoGo band, school band, and various jobs, Malik faced challenges academically but eventually graduated from high school at the age of nineteen.

After high school, Malik enrolled in Prince George's Community College, where he had the incredible opportunity to be a part of Howard University's marching band. This exposure to a more advanced level of percussion opened up doors for him, both offline and online. He gained recognition all across the United States, captivating audiences with his skills and garnering shares and reposts from the DMV and beyond.

In 2013, Malik embarked on a new chapter by creating his own brand called "D.O.P.E" (Definition of Percussion Entertainment). Through this brand, Malik aimed to provide entertainment, education, inspiration, motivation, innovation, artistic awareness, and production through the live nature of percussion – a true positive influence on living life.

Over the past four years, Malik's relentless dedication and hard work have paid off. He has participated in numerous events and live street performances across the DMV as well as in major cities, states, and countries.

We can'y wait to have him rawk the Afro Rosé stage on June 1st!

This Silver Spring, Maryland native, with roots in Ghana, West Africa, is bringing the heat with his unique blend of R&B and Afrobeat.

J.Addo's not just another musician on the scene. He's become a local favorite, packing out shows in D.C. and steadily building a buzz that stretches across the Atlantic. Since reigniting his music career in 2019, he's landed features on major networks, interviews, and performances that showcase his undeniable talent.

J.Addo's mission? To create an Afrobeat experience infused with soulful R&B rhythms. His latest album, "A Time For Everything," dropped in May 2023 and has him riding a wave of success. From performances on Fox 5's Good Day DC to rocking the Smithsonian Zoo's Panda Palooza, J.Addo is everywhere, and his music videos have racked up over 1.5 million views!
