Inspired by 🧚‍♀️ 𝑨 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕’𝒔 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 🧚‍♀️ this month’s dance invites you to awaken your inner mystical creature—whether fairy, forest guardian, woodland animal, elf, fae, unicorn, dragon or something entirely your own. Come adorned in wings, flowers, glitter, flowing fabrics, or simply bring your imagination.

✨🧚‍♀️ Facilitator Spotlight — Ari, Embodiment Warmup 🧚‍♀️✨

This Saturday, step into the enchanted world of 𝑨 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕’𝒔 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 with Ari of Lumra Wellness, founder of Ecstatic Dance Arlington. ✨

Ari will open our journey with a Mystical Creature Embodiment Warmup, an immersive somatic movement practice to awaken the imagination, connect with the natural world, and embody the wild, magical beings within us.

For Ari, embodiment is deeply personal. Somatic practices transformed her life, helping her release layers of trauma held in the body for decades and reconnect with the parts of herself ready to feel, move, play, and express freely.

Through movement, breath, sound, mindfulness, and energy work, she discovered that healing doesn’t always happen through the mind—sometimes, we have to let the body tell the story and turn the page.

That transformation inspired her to share these practices through Lumra Wellness and Ecstatic Dance Arlington, helping others reconnect with their bodies, authentic expression, freedom, and aliveness.

For this journey, we’ll explore imagination as a pathway into embodiment. ✨

This Saturday, we’re closing 𝑨 𝑴𝒊𝒅𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕’𝒔 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 dance with a little fairy-forest magic. 🧚‍♀️🌿

Harpist Bri will guide us into deep rest with an ethereal Harp Sound Bath—weaving gentle melodies and dreamy soundscapes to evoke serenity, wonder, and the feeling of wandering through an enchanted forest. ✨

After moving through our mystical creature embodiment journey and an all-original live ecstatic dance set with Zenglish, we’ll soften into stillness together and let the sounds of the harp carry us home. 🌙

If you were at Elements Festival this weekend, you might have caught Zenglish weaving his magic during a late-night downtempo set. 😌✨ This Saturday, he’ll take us on an all-original live music journey blending ambient textures, deep grooves, organic rhythms, Ableton + live instrumentation.

Inspired by nature and the human experience, Zenglish’s sets unfold like a story—moving from meditative flow into deeper grooves and high-energy release before gently bringing us back down. 🌊🔥

ELECTRO⚡️CUTE (she/they) is a DC-based DJ, producer, and founder of Ecstatic Dance Arlington. Emerging from NYC’s rave scene and rooted in the global ecstatic dance community, she blends organic house, tribal rhythms, and global influences inspired by her Persian and multicultural heritage.

She has shared lineups with Lee Burridge, Mita Gami, Monkey Safari, Awen, and Madmotormiquel. A certified Reiki practitioner, Ari also facilitates sound healing, EFT Tapping, and somatic embodiment experiences that inspire freedom, healing, and authentic expression as her alter-ego Lumra Wellness.
