The curtain has come down on the Warren Festival of the Arts. 39 years are enough! I want to thank everyone who had anything to do with the festival, for it certainly took a village to make it work all these years! I had the idea, but it grew and grew each year, allowing many artists - singers, instrumentalists, actors, comedians, etc. a venue for their talents. I am grateful to all of you. God bless. Roz Hupp

After 39 years of creating, writing, and presenting the Warren Festival of the Arts, the curtain is finally coming down. We (the talented artists behind and in front of the curtain) have performed about 50 shows in the Library Theatre, utilizing our talented people from the Warren Area. Now it is time for the younger generation to come forth with their talents and keep the theatre running. So far they are doing a good job if it. At age 88, I realize that I don't have the energy necessary to keep this festival going. Thanks to all of you who have followed us from the inception in l981 to the last performance in 2019. I shall look forward to seeing what deveops in the future. Rosalind Hupp

The Warren Festival of the Arts presents "WHERE ARE YOU GOING" on Friday, August 9th, 2019 in the Struthers Library Theatre beginning at 7:3o p.m. Once again it is loaded with talent from our own area. You might see a glimpse of the gangsters who invaded the art gallery a few yars ago. You might also see and hear Cody Hiller, violin, and James Pearson, cello, in an exciting duet. Craig Johnson will thrill you with his melodious bass-baritone voice. The Molly Dies Dance Express will be kicking their legs....comedy rules! You may even see a new backdrop or two! "Time after Time" will be presented by the Warren Festival of the arts on Friday, Aug. 4th at 7:30 p.m. in the Struthers Library Theatre. Come and enjoy the whirlwind ride- even to outer space! Tickets go on sale July 1st at the Library Theatre Office and are $14 for adults and $12 for Seniors and children.

Just wanted to thank everyone who had a part in this year's production, "The Big Apple". We had a very appreciative audience and everything backstage went like clockwork! I got many comments about the "smoothness" of the show - not too short, not too long! And, of course, this can't be accomplished by one person- it does take a "village". The performers were great, the backstage crew great! Kudos to Carol Guadagnino, Barb Crowley, Elise Brown, and Lou Cable for keeping things running smoothly! I love you all. Roz
