Fall weather is finally here! And that means indoor activities are about to come in full swing. One thing you may want to add to your bucket list this season is axe-throwing!

This week, we’re spotlighting Fat Axxes!🎉 What was once just an axe-throwing bar is now a full functioning event center with a wider variety of events and activities plus a full kitchen and bar. The owner Chris Vince has made it his goal to make sure there's something fun for EVERYONE💪

TONIGHT Urban Tap Run Group in Warren is teaming up with North Water Brewing Run Club for a combined group run, and Portage Lakes Run Club (PLX) is getting in on the fun too! 🔥

Even better, Urban Tap is extending a 10% discount on meals to all runners, so stick around afterward, grab some food, and enjoy some great company! 🍔

Life gets stressful sometimes, and when it does, it can feel like you have nothing to look forward to. That’s where Reconnection Fitness comes in!

My goal is to create fun, welcoming events where people can step away from the stress of everyday life, connect with others, make memories, and simply enjoy themselves for a little while. Because sometimes, we all need something fun on the calendar to look forward to! 🫶

Here’s what’s coming up:

An axe-throwing mixer where you can meet new people, connect, and have a little friendly competition!

🎃 Howland Boo Bash — October 24th
A 5K and 2-mile fun run/walk perfect for getting active, enjoying the Halloween spirit, and having fun with the community!

In our last video you might have heard Chris from Fat Axxes say that there will be prizes at the end of our upcoming event Get Out of My Lane... and you would be correct!

I am so excited to work with Fat Axxes on our upcoming event Get Out of My Lane!

I plan all of my events with one goal in mind, to create fun and friendly competitive spaces where all skill levels are welcome to participate. And I think I've done just that with this upcoming axe-throwing mixer, here's how the event will work: 🎯

Everyone will be split into small groups, with players competing head-to-head in their assigned lanes. Each player will get 5 throws per round, with points awarded based on where their axe lands on the target. 🪓

After everyone has completed their 5 throws, the player at each lane with the highest score stays, while the other players move to the next lane. A new round now begins with new challengers against the winners. We will have a leaderboard and give away some fun prizes at the end! 🏆

Even if you don't win one round, you still get to keep playing regardless AND you get to mix and mingle with new people which is always a win in my book. 😊
