Obviously beach and indoor volleyball are different. I mean clearly you're playing outside in the sand for one and then playing inside a gymnasium for the other. How much more could be different? 🤔

Since summer weather is right around the corner... who DOESN'T like catching some rays and playing some sand volleyball outside! 🔥

The next Reconnection Fitness event will be SERVING UP FUN! It’s a volleyball mixer designed to let you play with a variety of different people no matter your skill level. If you’re someone who wants to get some movement, enjoy some casual volleyball, and have fun this is the perfect event for you. 😎

Date: June 20th 📅

Time: Doors open 11:30 am
Volleyball begins at 12:00 pm 🏐

Location: Mill Creek Wick Recreational Area
Belle Vista Ave, Youngstown, OH 44509 📍

Admission: $15.00
Payments can be made in cash the day of the event or via Venmo/CashApp 💵

D**king Around was a huge success! 🎉

It was great catching up with familiar faces this past Saturday, and even better meeting some new ones on the court. If this was your first time attending a Reconnection Fitness event, thank you for coming out and giving us a try. I hope to see you again at the next one!

One of the best parts of the day was seeing experienced players step in to help beginners, and watching everyone grow and improve as the event went on. That kind of energy is what makes these events so special.

Congrats to Tehya for winning the 1-hour court time voucher in our raffle! I hope you and your friends have an amazing time using it 😊

A big thank you as well to The D**k Yard for helping make this event run so smoothly. The staff was incredible, and if you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend it!

Why is pickleball so popular right now?! 👀

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but it feels like pickleball has absolutely TAKEN OFF since 2021… So I decided to do some digging to find out why 🔍

While a large portion of players are older adults, I’m starting to think that this is a sport everyone should try. It offers so many physical, mental, and social benefits that younger generations might be missing out on 💪

Of course, like any sport, there are some risks and potential injuries that can occur... but warming up beforehand is a great way to prevent them 👍

Listen, pickleball rules can seem somewhat confusing 🤔 but when you break it down to just the basics it can make learning the sport a lot less overwhelming 🙌
