"Oldest 100K in the United States" 52 years old for 2026, much respect! Thank you Rob Scott and Bill Odendahl for ushering it through these past... several years. (not certain of the lineage prior) Still, quite a feat to keep ANY event going this long. Next Sunday, April 26, 2026. I'll be around, post here if you're running!

There is a surprising amount of activity at Hopkins Vineyard during winter; music on Saturday and Sunday and various events. Come visit, and feel free to get in a run or bike as well!

Stillness on the Lake, Warmth at the Winery -
After weeks of deep cold and hushed days, Lake Waramaug rests beneath a winter sky — still, patient, enduring. Across the hillside, our vines lie tucked beneath their quilt of snow, quietly gathering strength for the season to come. The snow softens the world, and even in the chill, the sun glows warm against it — a gentle reminder that the longest winters still carry light. There is beauty in the waiting. There is warmth ahead.
While winter lingers on the lake, our barn stays warm with good wine, friendly faces, and a heartfelt welcome. We hope you’ll come in from the cold and spend some time with us.

Registration will open Midnight Feb 1st 2026! . Race Date is Saturday July 11th 2026, 8am start. Please know that your support and enthusiasm has been fantastic across the years!

Limited Charity spots will be available afterwards, supporting Emergency Services in the towns of Washington and Warren; Lake Waramaug Task as well (responsible for general health of the lake)

Hopkins Vineyard built a new structure from which they'll deliver Panini sandwiches for non-athletes. Adam from The Clambaking Company will have their usual nice spread for the Athletes!
