That’s a wrap for Tulip Festival 2026. Your Tulip Team has tired feet, but full hearts.

It was an incredible weekend, even with Mother Nature sneaking in a few Kansas wild cards with the rain. We were proud to host a record breaking number of vendors, and we met so many incredible people. Thank you all for being part of it. We loved sharing Wamego with all of you.

With a team of 4, it takes a small army to make Tulip Festival happen. We just couldn’t do it without an incredible assist from the City of Wamego, from Parks and Rec, Power and Electric, and Maintenance crews, they all make it all possible. We can’t thank you enough. We’re also beyond thankful for our Wamego Police, Fire, and EMS, plus our first responder crews from across the county.

It also takes a ton of local business partnerships and the best volunteers on the planet. We’ve got the best of both. Thank you to everyone who helped load in, load out, clean up, and sponsor and host the festival events. Your help is essential, and your love of community is truly inspiring. It keeps us all going.

Tulip Festival is more than just an arts and crafts fair. It’s a celebration of the bravery and creativity it takes to be an entrepreneur and small business owner. It’s become a huge regional draw for tourism. It fills local hotels, shops, and restaurants. And for an event this scale to happen in a town this size, it is another piece of Wamego magic. We love all of you, and we mean it when we say… There’s no place like Wamego.

PS… don’t come by the office for a day or two. This place is a wreck. 😉

Remember when we shared Austin’s project back in January? We’re proud to say—it’s officially in service and ready to go… just in time for the Tulip Festival in Wamego!

This is a great example of innovation, initiative, and commitment to improving patient care right here in Pottawatomie County. Seeing projects like this move from concept to reality—and now into the field—speaks volumes about the dedication of our team.

So trust us... no one looks at the Tulip Festival weekend weather forecast more than we do. We're all native Kansans here, weather watching is the unofficial office sport.

Here's the scoop. We know it looks highly likely we will have some rain for the festival this year. That said, there is no good way to reschedule an event with this many vendors and volunteers, as well as re-schedule use of our beautiful park. So as always, Tulip Festival is RAIN OR SHINE.

Of course we always know that in Kansas in the spring time, sometimes we have to make adjustments and exceptions in the case of severe or dangerous weather, and we of course will always err on the side of safety. But if it's just rain, the festival is on. It might affect some of the amenities and performances, but we've had a great time with some showers before, and we're good on duck boots and umbrellas.

We'll see you this weekend Kansas... we can't wait.

VENDOR REMINDER!

It's unfortunate that each year around this time we have to post the reminder to beware of fake links on Facebook posts, as well as some sent directly through messenger or via email soliciting "extra vendor spots" or "last minute spots" being available and asking for payment. Our vendor spots are FULL for 2026.

Always double check to make sure any links are accurate and directly from the Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce or their "Glue UP" platform. And if in doubt, contact the Wamego chamber office directly.

The internet is sometimes a tricky place friends, always double check. And we can't wait to see you at Tulip Festival.

It's sad that we have to always post this reminder, but there are NO other ways to register as a vendor other than directly through our event page at visitwamego.com. You will be directed to a "glue up" vendor registration page from there. Any outside links posted in any comments or from folks other than Jessa, Carman, and Corey in the Wamego Chamber Office are almost always fake links.

The internet is a tricky place friends... ALWAYS REGISTER THROUGH DIRECT CHANNELS. And give us a shout if you need anything.

And if you'd humbly allow us... we have a ton of people to thank.

2025 was our biggest Tulip Festival ever, and not by a little bit. We welcomed over 230 craft vendors and 30 food vendors to Wamego. We opened the festival into new areas of the park. We totally changed the beer and wine tasting experience. And wow, did you ever show up. We are simply blown away by the huge two day attendance, the fantastic quality of our craft and food vendors, and the incredible level of live music and entertainment.

Things like this don't happen in a community the size of Wamego without a the efforts of a ton of people. It took hundreds of volunteer hours. It took generous sponsors and champions in our business community. It took the commitment and extra hours of our awesome City and Parks Crew. It took the support of our first responders. Our small but mighty staff at the Wamego Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Wamego just couldn't do this without the buy in of our amazing Wamego Community. We love you all and can't thank you enough.

The Tulip Festival at its very best is a celebration. Of course it's a celebration of community in sharing art and food and music. But it's also a celebration of proud small businesses, and the boldness and challenges of being a solo entrepreneur. Thank you to all the fantastic vendors who came from across the midwest to join us this year. You were amazing too. We wish you all the success in the world.

Thanks for celebrating with us at Tulip Festival 2025. We can't wait to see you again next year.
