The Delaware County Fair in Walton, New York is one of the largest agricultural fairs in the state. This is one of those shows where you stop for a minute... and end up staying the whole time.

High-flying acrobatics, aerial performances, daring balance acts, and plenty of moments that will have you wondering, "How are they doing that?" All happening right in front of you.

If you're heading to the Grandstand events, consider bringing earplugs or noise-canceling headphones for the kids. Judging by this crowd, even some of the adults have learned that lesson the hard way!

The engines are loud, the excitement is real, and protecting little ears means everyone can enjoy the show from the first rev to the final checkered flag.

👂 Pro tip: Pack the ear protection. Your future self (and your children) will thank you.

Right now, the midway is quiet. The barns are waiting. The grandstand sits empty. In just a few short weeks, these fairgrounds will be filled with the sounds of laughter, music, livestock, engines, conversations, and traditions that have brought people together for generations.

It's always hard to imagine fair week when the grounds are this still—but it won't stay that way for long.
