🎭 Meet Our Teaching Artist: Mycah Artis!

We’re thrilled to welcome Mycah Artis to the IAC teaching team! A Michigan-based theatre artist and educator, Mycah brings over 20 years of experience directing, performing, and teaching across Metro Detroit, the UK, and Ireland.

With a passion for musical theatre, devised work, collaboration, and human connection, Mycah creates spaces where young artists can explore, take creative risks, and learn with curiosity and joy.

She’ll be bringing that energy to our Teen Musical Theatre class, beginning Monday, October 12!

🎭On this Labor Day, we want to thank everyone who works hard to keep our southeast Michigan theatre community thriving. This includes all the talented actors you see on our stages, as well as the immeasurable contributions from our behind-the-scenes designers and crews.

What’s next for our stage? Come see our production of ‘God of Carnage’ by Yasmina Reza. This play follows two sets of parents who sit down and try to resolve a playground dispute between their children. Seems easy enough, right? 😬
