Summer training starts now at The Inspired Acting Company in Downtown Walled Lake.

Whether you’re looking for a creative summer experience, professional actor training, or a place to build confidence and community, we’ve got programs for kids, teens, and adults happening now and throughout the summer.

🎭 NOW ENROLLING:

✨ Camp Half-Blood: A Theatre Adventure
A 6-week youth theatre course filled with storytelling, imagination, ensemble work, and creativity.
May 26 – June 30

✨ Character Lab: Building Bold, Specific, and Transformative Performances
An adult acting class focused on character creation, specificity, imagination, transformation, and building deeply connected work.
May 27 – July 1

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we also take time to reflect on the cost of war, the weight carried by veterans and military families, and the lives forever changed by service.

At The Inspired Acting Company in Downtown Walled Lake, our current production of Ugly Lies the Bone explores one veteran’s journey home: the pain, resilience, isolation, and hope that can follow combat.

This Memorial Day weekend, we invite you to join us for a story that feels especially meaningful today.

Tonight’s the night.

Ugly Lies the Bone opens tonight at The Inspired Acting Company in Downtown Walled Lake.

We’ve been incredibly grateful for the support and media coverage leading up to opening weekend, including features from Michigan Public, WXYZ-TV, WJR, The Detroit News, and The Novi Note.

Set in Florida after the Iraq War, the play follows Jess, a young veteran navigating recovery, trauma, and reconnection through an experimental virtual reality therapy program.

This production has challenged and inspired us throughout the process, and we cannot wait to finally share it with audiences.

This powerful and deeply human play by Lindsey Ferrentino follows a young veteran returning home after the Iraq War as she navigates recovery, pain, connection, and the difficult process of rebuilding a life.
