Quoddybaskets

Quoddybaskets My baskets are made from Brown Ash and Sweetgrass. I am a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe.

The baskets I make are all done in the traditional Passamaquoddy way. I harvest the Ash from my land and hand pound it, strip, scrape and gague it all before I even start to weave the basket. The sweetgrass that I put in the baskets is gathered by me from coastal tribal land.
