ANNOUNCEMENT!!

As some of you are aware, Saunders County has endured immense flooding this week. We will officially be moving the show to Christianson Field in Fremont (location in photo below)! Although we would love to be in Wahoo, we are thrilled to still be able to provide an high quality show in a great facility while staying close to home. There are also several hotels nearby if you need to change arrangements.

Please share, get the word out, and tell your friends!! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out and including our unwavering local support. We are truly blessed with the best community and can’t wait to be back next year. In the meantime, we thank the folks in Fremont for their help.

We are so thrilled to have another lineup of national-caliber judges this year and can’t wait to hear from Brian Anderson and Christian Berry at our first two-day event. We look forward to seeing you at the Saunders County Fairgrounds for the BIGGEST and BEST Cornhusker Classic yet!

Now that the dust has settled, this past weekend has been able to truly set it. We would like to sincerely thank each exhibitor and family who came out to Saunders County and helped this show grow into this. Thank you to our judges who truly made this a high caliber event. Thank you to Abby Miller, Jackie Heinrich, and Morgan Smith for braving the day and helping keep things running. Thank you to my parents, Matt and Lori Hannan, and my brother, Miles for supporting this vision I had and for dedicating their time to making it happen. And thank you to the sponsors who made this possible- the Saunders County Livestock Association, MP Mart, Baade Genetics, Quentin Smola, and Travis Sudik.

We were absolutely blown away by the turnout with over 800 head entering the ring throughout the course of two shows. I wasn’t able to truly process that on Saturday, and as I reflect on the weekend it continues to sink in. It’s difficult to express what it means to see the next generation having the experiences that I’ve dedicated the last few years to trying to help create. Next year we’ll be back with even more prizes, cash, buckles, and banners… thanks to all of you. See you in 2024.
