Pump N Run 5k

This Saturday 90 of the men from GCI (along with 11 guests) will run further than they've ever run. 20 will be running a full marathon Inside the Wire. One of the men sent me an awesome letter outlining his 26 reasons for running a marathon. My favorite was that he's finding a way to be a positive way to inspire others. What a profound story of redemption. No matter what, we can make a positive impact!!!

This week at Running2bwell we connected 312 times with folks in recovery at 17 meetings, and gave out 33 pairs of shoes to people like Rikki. She came through our program years ago and is thriving. So proud of her and everyone else who's taking the opportunities and giving back to help others in their journeys.

Are you up for a new challenge? The Pump N Run 5k tests both your speed and strength. You'll earn a 5 sec head start in the 5k for every rep of bench press. You'll be lifting a % of body weight based on age and gender.
