Well.....it wasn't hot at least ๐
Thanks to everyones fortitude, we were able to complete our 6th annual wiffleball tournament even though the weather had other ideas. This year was certainly memorable with the event kicking off at 9:00 am, and the final game ending at 2:00 am. That's 17 hours' worth of memories. โค๏ธ
We had another great turnout with a group of awesome friends, family, and neighbors to all come together to play a little backyard wiffleball. One of the things that we enjoy the most about the event, is the age ranges from all of our teams. To get such a wide range of people all getting together in a backyard to play a "childs game", is truly awesome. That joy makes it all worth it.
This year the competition took another step up with two new teams playing for the championship with Praying for a Hit coming out of the losers bracket to eventually fall in a game 2 deciding game to Balls Deep who managed to capture the neighborhoods biggest wiffleball tournament of all time ๐
Thanks goes out to Dalton Elpers for once again allowing us to borrow the scaffolding that we use each year, Paul Pearce for being a rock star and setting up the large tent that we were fortunate enough to have for this year, along with a special thanks to all of our neighbors who not only tolerate the event, but supports us putting it on! Without the neighborhoods help, this event does not happen.
Thanks again to everyone, and we are looking forward to Wade Parks 7th Annual Wiffleball Tournament. See you next year!!!!!!
Note: If you have any pictures of the event, team photos, etc. please feel free to post them on our page at Wade Park Wiffle Ball . I'm the worst at taking pictures.
