Hello to our James Holbrook Building family!

The first half of 2020 is now behind us but unfortunately COVID19 is not. With Anson County cases growing and our active cases being at its highest we will continue to be temporarily closed. I absolutely will not risk the health of anyone including you, your guests or the JHB staff. I’m sorry to say that I have no plans at this time to book any Christmas parties. As soon as I make a decision to reopen, I will let you know.

Pray for a miracle. Please... wear your mask, wash your hands and social distance. I know that we can beat this! We miss all of you and your parties and celebrations!

In order to comply with the CDC and the Governor’s recommendations we have decided to cancel booked parties and close the venue until May 1st. At that time we will reassess the Coronavirus situation.

Please stay home, stay safe and pray for the entire world. We look forward to seeing you when this is all over.

Spring cleaning is in the air here at the James Holbrook Building!

Chris and Jamie are doing some minor repairs. Sarah has started on the yard. Gwen and I have been organizing and we are getting rid of items that we never use to hopefully add some new things that we will and.... its dishwashing time! All of the china, glassware, flatware and serving pieces get rewashed twice a year!

I can't believe that we are approaching five years! Looking back, so many families and friends have gathered here and walked away with special memories of that day. Some of these gatherings have been... engagement parties, wedding and baby showers, bridesmaid's luncheons, rehearsal dinners, a wedding, wedding receptions, gender reveals, baby dedication lunches, birthday parties for young and old, graduation parties, high school and family reunions, retirement dinners, corporate meetings, club meetings, university alumni gatherings, funeral lunches and Christmas parties.... just to name a few!

Brook and I have met so many wonderful people. We have heard your stories, testimonies, prayers, songs and even laughed at your comedians! Some people have been here so many times, they are now our James Holbrook family... you know who you are!! Just give me a call!

Thanks to all of you who either chose the James Holbrook Building or attended an event. We will continue to help you in any way to have a stress free and wonderful day. You will walk in to our venue totally set up and ready for your event, just bring your personal items to display and your food. After you are finished, just pack up your things and go, because we do all the clean up!
