While you are enjoying lunch today, start thinking about your plans for Saturday… because The Texas Food Truck Showdown is almost here!

🌮 FOOD TRUCK SHOWDOWN DAY OF DETAILS 🌮

The day kicks off early with judging from our panel of judges, then we open the square to the public from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm! You do not want to miss it!

From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tasty Tickets are the only way to sample each food truck’s featured showdown dish.
Tasty Tickets are $6 each, and every ticket counts toward People’s Choice, so come support your favorite truck. If you do not have a favorite yet, this is your chance to discover one!

⏰ Tasty Ticket sales end at 4:00 pm
🏆 Food Truck Awards begin around 4:30 pm

Starting at 5:00 pm, food trucks will open their full menus, making it the perfect time to grab dinner with family and friends. From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, trucks will take payment directly at their trucks.

🎶 Live music starts shortly after 10:00 am and ends the night with the Rewind Party Band from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm!

Next Friday, all 39 of our amazing food trucks will roll into Heritage Square in Downtown Waco, kicking off the start of something special as they get set up for the big event happening the following Saturday.

From Southern comfort favorites to international flavors, plus everything between the bread and plenty of delicious desserts, this lineup is bringing something for everyone. 🍔🌮🍰

There’s just something fun about move-in day, watching each truck arrive, get into place, and slowly transform the square into a vibrant food destination. It’s the behind-the-scenes magic before the big day!
