CTX Premier Baseball

⚾️ CTX Premier 8U Open Practices ⚾️

Over the next couple of weeks, we’re opening up a few practices for players and families who want to come see what CTX Premier Baseball is all about.

Our goal is simple:
✅ Provide extra reps and development opportunities
✅ Let players experience the Premier practice environment
✅ Connect with families interested in competitive baseball this fall

📍 Heritage Practice Field

Open Practice Dates:
• June 2
• June 5
• June 9

Players must register in advance using the Google Form so our coaches can properly plan for each session. At this time, we will not be accepting walk-ups.

After registering, a coach will reach out with additional details and what to expect.

Centex WS Skills competition had a kink thrown in the plans this year due to Mother Nature for Friday night. However , just like always, Worm Burner tries as hard as possible not to let the rain ever stop us from what we have scheduled!

Teams that were signed up for Friday nights skills, if you would like to still compete we want to try to make that happen. Tomorrow, Sunday on Field 3, starting at 9am and going until 3pm, we will have it opened for skills competition on a first come first serve basis. We know that everyone signed up will probably not get the chance or have the time to make it happen but we want to try to make it possible for as many of the teams as we can.

What we need from you all are these few things below-

Patience-we are going to try and make it as smooth as possible so if a team is already on the field participating you may get in line to go next as soon as the team on the field is finished.

Coaches-we ask that as many coaches from each team can jump out there and help us as we will have 2 people there running it and doing the best they can with the time they have. Also, coaches have everyone ready that is going to participate and also of your team is doing home run derby, be ready with your own balls to pitch to your players participating.

14/13U will hit from the back stop.
11/12U will hit from home plate.
9/10U will hit from the pitchers mound.
6/7/8U will hit from 2nd base.
10 outs, if it’s anything but a home run or pitch that is not swung at, it’s an out.

Last thing, hustle. Help us hustle through your team as quickly as possible so that as many teams as possible that originally signed up are able to participate if they want to. They will have the original signup sheets. If you did not sign up originally, we’re sorry but we’re not going to let you participate just because we are not going to have the time to let everyone who signed up get through it if they all choose to still participate so with even more, it will definitely be impossible. Thanks for all the help and understanding!
