We’re deep into planning Grumpy Old Men Festival 2027, and along the way, we love looking back at the organizations that have truly put their support behind this festival. ❤️

A BIG Grumpy thank you to the Wabasha Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America - Wapashaw Chapter for being one of them!

The Wabasha Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America is made up of local men and women dedicated to protecting our soil, air, woods, water and wildlife — and when you think about it, that fits Grumpy pretty darn perfectly.

The movie we all love is about more than two cantankerous old guys and their ongoing feud. 😂 It’s about community, friendship, fishing, winter, the river and a connection to the outdoors. Those same things are at the heart of our festival and at the heart of this beautiful place we get to call home.

Organizations like the Izaak Walton League of America help protect the woods, water and wildlife that make our corner of Minnesota so special — while also supporting community events that bring people together.

🎣🍻 As planning begins for the next Grumpy Old Men Festival, we can’t help but look back at some of our favorite moments from last year…

And yes… this is also the day I famously fell on the ice while filming. If you know, you know. 🤦‍♀️🧊😂 But hey, anything for the content!
