The Miss Wabasha Scholarship Program is excited to announce a special update for the 2026 season!

Due to a unique scheduling conflict with the high school’s educational trip to Costa Rica during Riverboat Days, we are adjusting our timeline this year to ensure that all eligible students still have the opportunity to participate in this meaningful and longstanding community tradition.

This year, the Miss Wabasha Scholarship Coronation will be held in advance of Riverboat Days. This change will allow us to continue supporting student involvement, leadership development, and scholarship opportunities, while still celebrating our royalty as part of the Riverboat Days festivities.

The Miss Wabasha Scholarship Program remains committed to empowering local youth, building confidence, and investing in the future of our community. We look forward to another incredible year of participation and celebration.

More details regarding event dates, application deadlines, and participation will be shared soon.

Same shirts, two cities, one incredible crew 💥

While many of our Riverboat Days volunteers were holding it down at Bingo at the VFW Post 4086, Wabasha, MN, Red and her Katfish Kittens C.C. crew were out representing Wabasha Riverboat Days at the 68th Annual Gopher State Timing Association Rod & Custom Spectacular at Canterbury Park in Shakopee—catching up with Robert Wolfe Picker, showing off the Car Show poster and handing out swag!

From the VFW to the GSTA floor… our volunteers were everywhere today making things happen. That’s how we do it 💪

👀 Spot the poster at the Kittens’ booth and get your first look, GSTA runs tomorrow from 9 am until 6 pm!

Our Spring BB&E Bingo fundraiser was one for the books, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from this community. A huge THANK YOU to Schott Distributing, Herb+Arrow Bar Kitchen, and The Machine Shed for their generous donations that helped make this event such a success!

To our amazing volunteers—especially our caller Chris (and his lovely bride who works hard to keep him in line 😉)—we appreciate you more than you know. And of course, THANK YOU to every single player who joined us. Your support is what keeps Wabasha Riverboat Days going strong for nearly 48 years!
