Race Report #1
A war of attrition on a beautiful night with a typical headwind up the climb for each of the 37 laps, made for an exciting finish with 4 riders battling for the win on the final sprint! Legend Pete Tholl perfectly positioned on second wheel, launched his sprint hard and looked destined for victory before 3 time defending champ Yogi Romero closed the gap and took victory with hard charging multiple VC winner Brett Bylund just behind in third. Forth place went to James Mac who rode strategically taking little risks but also not endearing himself to his breakaway companions...do better James. Tiger rounded out the podium despite an ill advised late race hero pull that saw him brought back and dropped only to be lapped on the finale... Notable mention to Dave Pankratz and Mike Matz who were studs and Luke Pankratz coming off injury and sickness just to be part of the fun!

Race Report #3

Our 3rd race of the series saw a foreigner 🇨🇦 not only take the win 🥇 but lap the field in heroic fashion. Only 19 minutes into the race and after multiple viscous attacks from the likes of second and third place finishers Yogi and Luke, did Ed begin his solo quest off the front in what would be the winning move. The chase began immediately with 6 riders including young Zach separating from the field. Unfortunately the cohesion was not there and Ed was out of sight..until he wasn’t! With three laps to go coming up and passing the leaders to take victory. Yee and Zach raced very well to complete the top 5 and gain points towards the series although Yogi Romero, our 2 time defending series champ has a pretty commanding lead heading into the finale tonight! Hope to see you there at 6:15pm!!
