We’re hiring! The City is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell the Visalia Convention Center's event space and services while building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth.
In this key role, you’ll generate new business, manage the full sales cycle, conduct site tours, prepare contracts and cost summaries, negotiate event details, and develop creative strategies to attract new clients.
We’re looking for candidates who are:
✔️ Self-directed, motivated, and results-driven
✔️ Strong relationship builders and communicators
✔️ Confident in sales, negotiation, and public speaking
✔️ Customer-focused and skilled at managing multiple priorities
📋 Minimum Qualifications:
• Three years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Ability to provide own transportation and proof of insurance
• Willingness to travel and work an irregular schedule
