Story Time!
A few years ago, I put on an event in Massachusetts that absolutely blew past our attendance projections. On one hand, it was incredible. On the other, it created some real challenges for fans, staff, police, and EMTs who were trying to keep everything running safely and smoothly.
It got to the point where I ended up doing a TV interview afterward to explain something important: event organizers rely on fans letting us know they’re coming. Pre-registration isn’t just about tickets. It’s how we plan staffing, security, parking, crowd flow, giveaways, and emergency services to make sure everyone has the best experience possible.
Fast forward to this Saturday’s show, and the numbers are looking fantastic thanks to an amazing lineup of special guests, dealers, and exhibitors. We are expecting a great crowd.
The show is FREE, but free doesn’t mean unlimited. If attendance reaches venue capacity, we have to follow the venue’s safety requirements. That’s why grabbing your ticket in advance is so important. It helps us prepare properly, helps keep the event safe for everyone, and ensures you’re counted before the doors open.
