Good afternoon everyone . . . after 35 years of providing family friendly fun for Virginia Beach's and the region's citizens, we unfortunately have been instructed to cease operating at Mount Trashmore. Despite having an approved event permit and meeting all of the necessary enhanced security requirements set forth by the City of Virginia Beach, we were informed late yesterday that the City's public safety departments are unable to fulfill their original plan of on-site security personnel.

Clearly we find this very disheartening as we are sure many of you do as well. We have not given up hope that we can restart the 2025 Mount Trashmore Summer Carnival depending on the support from the City and its residents. Should you feel strongly about this issue, please feel free to reach out to your local city council person and/or the city manager's office directly to voice your concerns.

While we have only been open a few days this season, we found the event to be safe, welcoming and without incident. It is always our intention to provide a memorable and fun experience for all who attend. Regardless of the future, we sincerely thank you for three plus decades of support and love. It has been an honor to be part of your family traditions and we hope we can continue to be so. Spread the word. 🎡❤️

🎉 We're just a couple days away from the Annual Mount Trashmore Summer Carnival! We are so excited to welcome back all of our longtime attendees and we look forward to seeing new faces for 2025!
