Good day to all who wander. Just a thought on the top of the head after reading through the scrolls of the book of faces. Everyone who is involved in this merry world or life of renaissance fairs never forget how amazing your are. Be you a vendor, actor, entertainer or behind the scenes you are amazing and are touching people all the time. People come to our festivals to escape, to be merry, to learn and to smile and laugh. You make that happen. You do all the hard work in off season to create the scene and set up. You work diligently on the garb and the character development. Each step you take toward the festival is a step closer to someone's smile, someone's laugh and helping someone see out of the dark pit that they may be in. I know this is long, but I want you all to know that you may not receive a thank you or a special announcement, but you are touching people and bringing them out of their darkness if even for just a moment. Carry on and push forward (insert your personal battle cry here). "Never give up and never surrender"
