Ag Days 2025!
Thank you to all that donated to our event this year (list coming soon), without the carnival we did not have money coming in like we did in the past and your contribution made this year possible. Thank you to the Boy Scouts for helping set up and tear down the tables this weekend, thank you to our local queens from the Miss Villa Grove Pageant and Moultrie-Douglas County Fair that came and helped out, and thank you to Bruce Allen for continuing to run the parade, kiddie straw pile, and kiddie tractor pull, these are always a big hit. Thank you to our volunteers who helped run the inflatables, we couldn’t have done it without you, thank you to those that ran our 3-on-3 tournament, and thank you to those who brought up a tractor for our display, hope we can make it even bigger next year! A huge thank you to our four amazing committee volunteers who have put in countless hours to bring this festival to town the last couple years. Thank you, thank you to all that came out to our celebration this year even though it looked a little different than years past. Despite our set backs this year with the carnival and events that were unable to take place, the Ag Days Committee was very happy with what we were able to do. For those that did not hear, the carnival that we had booked for this year had to back out last minute due to, what we were told, health issues. This was completely out of our control and despite our best efforts, we were unable to get another carnival for this year due to most companies booking years in advance. We have already been working hard to ensure we bring back a carnival next year, even if that means moving weekends again. We were also very low on volunteers to run events and so had to cut back and run events we felt we could do and run smoothly ourselves. Again we know this year was different but we are so thankful to everyone that came and that helped us make this weekend a great time!
We would love to hear what you enjoyed this year. Feel free to share pictures!
