Quilts of Past & Present Quilt Show is presented by the Blackgum Harvestime Church Sewing Sisters. The Show is held each year on the last Friday and Saturday of July. The Show features approximately 100 entries, a Vendor Mall, Boutique, Vintage Display, Demonstrations and Door Prizes. We also have a wonderful Tea Room hosted by the ladies of the church with a daily quilt show special of homemade chicken salad sandwich with soup, chips and drink. Delicious homemade desserts are also available. Come early for the fried pies which are a favorite with attendees because they don't last long! Proceeds from the Quilt Show are used for various projects as well as missions. Learn to sew, quilt and more...The Sewing Sisters meet each Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. We invite you to bring your sewing machine and a project to work on or just come by and visit with us a while.

🚨🧵 OKLAHOMA QUILTERS — THIS IS SO COOL! 🧵🚨
What if your love of quilting could travel with you EVERYWHERE you go? 🚗❤️
There is an effort underway to bring a quilt-themed specialty license plate to Oklahoma, celebrating the amazing quilting community across our state! 🪡🧵
Right now, they are gathering names of people who may be interested in purchasing one if it receives legislative approval. Signing the interest list does NOT obligate you to buy one.
The goal is for the plate to potentially be available by Fall 2027, and once approved, at least 100 Oklahoma residents will need to submit prepaid applications to help make it a reality.
✨ The specialty plate would cost an additional $15 above standard license plate fees.
I mean… “I ❤️ QUILTS” on an Oklahoma license plate?! 😍
You KNOW quilters need this!
👉 If you would love to see this happen, stop by the shop and add your name to the interest list! It will be available to sign on Monday !!
Let’s show them just how BIG Oklahoma’s quilting community really is! ❤️🧵
WHO WANTS ONE?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

That's a wrap on our 17th "Quilts of Past & Present" Quilt Show. Thank you to every one who helped in any way and thank you for coming to support our Show. Thank you to Pastors Thomas and Tiffany Haning and Blackgum Harvestime Church.

A very special thank you goes to our Honorary Sewing "Brothers", (no sewing required) Justin and Tom. Your willingness to do whatever needed to be done, your hard work behind the scenes, and your cheerful attitudes never went unnoticed. From lifting, moving tables, fixing things, and jumping when we yelled, you are truly a blessing to our group. We couldn't have done it without you!

Until we see you again, keep stitching! We'll see you at the 18th Annual Blackgum Harvestime Sewing Sisters "Quilts of Past & Present" Quilt Show July 30 & 31, 2027.
