Presale Chicken Tickets and Chicken - The popular Chicketti Family Amusements returns to the festival. Ride ALL DAY for only $20 with a wrist band purchased at Johns IGA, Versailles S&L, or ACE Hardware in Versailles until Wednesday, June 11th. Purchase presale and redeem at the festival for the day of your choice. All day wrist bands will be $25 at the festival. Rides will operate 3-10:30pm on Friday, 12-10:30pm on Saturday and 12-8pm Sunday, subject to weather. Rides are sponsored by Kings Command of Versailles. The festival will also offer games and the ever-popular FFA Activity Area and the FREE Family Fun Zone sponsored by Versailles Dental.

Individual chicken dinner tickets are available at Johns IGA, and the Versailles S&L until Wednesday, June 10th. Each dinner costs $12 and comes with chips, applesauce, roll & butter and orange drink. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the festival. Dinners will be served 3:30-8pm Friday, 11:30-7:30pm Saturday and 11am-7pm Sunday. Come early since chicken sales are unpredictable and we can sell out earlier.

Chicken can be ordered for pick up any day of the festival (June 12, 13 or 14th) or for delivery only on Friday, June 12th within 20 miles of Versailles. All bulk sales are online and in advance of the festival. This year the Chicken Serving Line is sponsored by Weavers Brothers Eggs. The Bulk Chicken Line is sponsored by Phelan Insurance. In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Versailles Poultry Days, the Festival Board is honored to invite all past Festival Chairmen, Miss Chicks, and Little Miss Poultry Days to join us in the Grand Parade on Saturday, June 13th at 11:00 AM. An honorary float will be provided for this special occasion.

Yesterday's pictures from 1967 were a reminder of the bumps the festival has had over its 75 year history. The festival is always held in June. BUT in 1967 the school year was extended due and Poultry Days was held July 7 & 8th. The only other time the festival was held outside of June was 2020 due to the pandemic.

Today is the last day of National Volunteer Month. Poultry Days thanks the hundreds of people who make the festival happen. From the teams that place signs to those who clean up. 75 years wouldn't be possible without you. Volunteering is force that shapes communities and you make our community stronger. We appreciate you each and every day. Thank you!
